Frequently asked questions
I’ve never done lashes before—can I still join this course?
Absolutely! This course is designed specifically for beginners. You don’t need any prior beauty or lash experience—we’ll teach you everything from the ground up.
Will I be able to learn even if I’m not naturally artistic or “good with my hands”?
Yes. Lashing is a skill that takes practice, not natural talent. We guide you step by step and provide plenty of hands-on support so you can build your skills with confidence.
What will I learn in the course?
You will learn how to do up to 5 different lash styles (Classics, Light volumes, Volumes, Wet set and Wet + Wipsy Set). You’ll learn the fundamentals of lash extensions—lash types, isolation and placement, safety and sanitation, lash mapping, adhesive control, styling, aftercare, and how to work on both mannequins and live models.
Will I be taught how to get clients and set up my business?
Absolutely, we don't just teach the skill, we teach you how to set up your business, how to market, how to use social media, editing apps, how to take content and so much more.
Do you provide a lash kit, or do I need to bring my own?
A professional starter kit is included with your course. It has everything you need to get started and practice during and after class. It will last you for up to 70 clients!
Will I get a certificate at the end of the course?
Yes, you’ll receive a certificate of completion once you finish the training and practical assessments.
Will I get to practice on a live model?
Yes! You’ll first practice on a mannequin head, then move on to a live model during the course to build your confidence with real-life application. You will have 1 model on Day 1, 2 models on Day 2.
Do I need to bring my own model?
Yes, you will have to organise your own model if possible (we’ll give you time slots in advance). If you can’t, let us know—we can help arrange one with notice.
Where is the class held?
Classes are held in Mount Eliza, Melbourne.. Full address and parking info will be sent to you upon registration.
What are the class hours and how long is the course?
Our beginner lash course is a 2-day intensive, typically running from 9am to 4pm each day.
How many people are in each class?
To ensure personalized attention, we keep our classes small— no more than 3 students per session.
What should I wear or bring to class?
Wear comfortable, professional clothing + bring a drink bottle.
Is lunch provided?
We provide light refreshments/snacks. We also provide platters for lunch too. Please let us know of any allergies prior to training day.
