It is essential to prepare for your appointment to promote healing and enhance your overall results. This includes taking steps to optimise your skin's condition, and minimise potential complications.
At least six weeks prior to your procedure, avoid using any products that may thin or sensitise your skin, such as retinoids, alpha-hydroxy acids, or chemical peels.
In the 48 hours leading up to your appointment, refrain from consuming any substances that may increase bleeding or impact your results, including alcohol, fish oil, caffeine, and blood thinners like Aspirin, Ibuprofen, or Niacin. If you're taking medically prescribed blood thinners, please inform us and we'll discuss alternative arrangements.
It's essential to note that tattooing is not possible over active blemishes, sores, sunburn, or moles in the brow area.
To minimise potential interactions with the tattooing process, schedule cosmetic treatments like botox or fillers at least two weeks prior to or after your appointment.
The following individuals are not eligible for cosmetic tattooing and should not schedule an appointment:
- Individuals prone to keloid scarring.
- Individuals who have used Vitamin A products (such as Isotretinoin, Accutane, or Retinol) within the last six months.
- Individuals who are Pregnant or planning to become pregnant.
