Do I need any previous experience?

No. Our courses are designed for both complete beginners and existing beauty professionals wanting to upskill. We take you through everything from the foundations through to practical application, troubleshooting, client experience and building your services.

What’s the difference between online and in-person training?

Our online courses allow you to learn at your own pace through our online academy, with detailed theory and demonstrations you can revisit throughout your access period. Our in-person courses combine online pre-course learning with hands-on training, live models and direct guidance from your educator.

Do I get access to the online training with an in-person course?

Yes. In-person students receive access to the relevant online academy before their training. This allows you to learn the theory and watch demonstrations before coming in, so we can focus heavily on hands-on application during your training.

Will I receive a certificate?

Yes. Certification is provided once you have successfully completed the required training and assessments for your chosen course.

Do I need to bring my own models for in-person training?

Yes. You’ll be required to source your own models for your training. However, if you’re having trouble finding someone, Gemma can always assist with sourcing models. You’ll receive all model requirements and preparation information before your training day.

Are products and kits included?

This varies between courses. Everything included in your specific training will be clearly listed on the course page. Online students will also receive product recommendations so you know exactly what you need to complete your training and begin practising.
